Observation day

I know I'm supposed to post this on the day of the observation itself but hey... I was tired and lazy lol~ *gets tomatoes thrown at her* eeeek ok. I'll try to keep updating as much as I can next time... T-T

Friday (2nd March 2012),

My lecturer/supervisor Mr. Teo came to observe both me and Malvin (Practicum Partner) because last week he couldn't due to the school's many surprise activities. =3= and they blamed us for that. Meh. It wasn't us who said there was no pnp (Pengajaran dan Pelajaran) during the first half of the afternoon session in the first place.

Aaaaaaaanyway, lets just forget about that. So he came and observe us. I was quite nervous at the time too. I wasn't quite prepared for the things that my mentor wants me to do. Because what she asked me was pair the students up and ask them to paraphrase stanza 1 to 4. Pick the best one and write on the board. And then hand them worksheets (fill in the blanks) for them to do. ALL that in 35 minutes. And I was like.... wha-? are you kidding me? These kids are... well they ARE bright but not all of them can answer straight away in say.... 10 minutes? They need at least 15 minutes. Well I tried my best to follow my mentor's orders. And luckily I managed to finish everything on time albeit the students have no idea what they are doing. LOL!

Damn, remind me to use my own methods and be confident with it. Meh. Overall it was okay. Mr. Teo said my voice is soft. I guess next time I need to shout and scream in class lol. And he said I could still improve my lesson plan. Alright, now that I know what my mistakes are. I guess I have a lot of work to do and of course for my student's best interest I will try my best to improve my methods.

That's the end of my observation. Hopefully it'll be okay next time. >.<

Long since...

Long since the day I have written in this blog... Can't say I don't have time to write... It's just that I don't have the energy and inspiration to do it.

Orang cakap "Teda hati suda baa" itu kalu orang Sabah la.

But anyway, I'll still try my best to find time to write and tell you guys what's going on.

I am doing my practical now at SMK Datuk Peter Mojuntin, Penampang. The days goes by quite fast on the contrary of how people might've thought. The children were not bad well some of them. I know I'm suppose to be strict to them but sheesh I can't and the excuse I'm gonna give is pretty lame so I'm not gonna waste your time lol.

As the weeks goes by with bundles of activities and teaching class at once, I feel like my health point is gradually decreasing. I could rest and regain the lost energy but yeeeeesh stress build up is definitely hindering my full recovery.

Anyway, one of the teacher advised me not to think too much about the stress. Just let it go or lets all go to bukit padang she said. =3=''

Well other than that, everything's fine. This week is the revision week and next week is exam week. And the week after that is the SCHOOL HOLIDAY!! Yes, I am looking forward for the school holidays. Ahh, it's only Monday... I wish Friday would come as soon as possible lol

My timetable has changed again for the 3rd time this whole month Orz

I'm teaching Geography. If only you could see my face right now. The students are going to fail. Seriously. I mean it. >.>;;

After the school holidays, I am still going to teach Geography but for my English class instead of Form 1, I have to teach form 2. OMG! They're not going to ever listen to me. I pray to God for a LOT of patience.

Now that I think about it... I have to buy MORE reference book. =3='' magavii tusin ku.

Sad Day...

Hello fellow bloggers and readers... today as I returned home from work I received a very shocking news...

A friend, Libat Pudun, passed away as he was undergoing his practical, like the rest of us Unirazak students, in Lawas. He had committed suicide for reasons unknown and his family is now grieving for their lost. Friends and lecturers alike are shocked at the news... No one really knows why he did it...

When I heard the news... I was shocked... I was lost for words... My mind went blank and I kept saying... why? why? why? like a broken record. A friend who was on the phone with me kept saying he don't know why Libat did it.

I couldn't cry... my heart was screaming... heart and mind not one at the time... I couldn't comprehend what my friend just told me. Till this minute I still couldn't believe that he already left us.

His last post in facebook was... "Goodbye world. Thanks for the memories,"

I wished I have seen this sooner... I wished that I could prevent this from happening... but alas... no one could've known... not even his family...

He was a great guy with a sense of humour. He was happy-go-lucky and friendly with everyone.

All I could think of saying now is

May God bless his eternal soul... May God bestow his family the strength to carry on... and may God bless us all.

Send him our prayers and God have mercy on him....

sigh...

I still read LOL

I've just finished 3 books today and ish very proud of self LOL

Just the other day, I was watching Howl's Moving Castle with Tasia and just then I discovered I really wanted to read the book and read its sequel too. >.<''

And Voila!
I found 3 books

Howl's Moving Castle

The original of the series that was made into an animated movie by the great Hayao Miyazaki >3<

I love his rendition very much <3 <3 but I'm glad I read the book as well. The story is fascinating and you've got the grasp of the whole story once you read it =D I love Howl and Sophie >3<

Castle in the Air


















The 2nd sequel of the castle series. Here Sophie isn't the main character instead she'll be assisting the main character Abdullah. After reading this, I felt like I was reading Arabian Nights for some reason hmm... probably because of the magical carpet XP

House of Many Ways


















Sophie appears in this book as well lol this time the book is about a girl name Charmain, whose whole life never learnt how to do house chores. All she had in her hands are her books. She aspires to be a librarian lol  One day, she was asked to aid in sorting out documents in the royal library, where she met Sophie and Twinkle~ =P


I know this post is nonsense and it's like 3a.m. now OAO I can't put down a book once I start reading it... = =''

Anyway, just wanted to share this and hope you guys consider reading it =D and to those who have... we can talk all about it when we meet each other, yeah? =P

Today I wanna talk about my super duper preparation for my practical… which is next week~!!

 

So far my progress is…..

I need a lot of stuff to do! I should get my arse moving then right?

….. WRONG! lemme play my games and enjoy first before my freedom is taken away from meeeeeeee *super dramatic pose*

anyway… here’s what I to-do list… =P

1. Prepare 3 files.

2. Photostat lotsa lotsa “Logbook” paper

3. Baju kurung/kebaya + Wednesday’s baju batik. OAO

4. Hair clips + Hair bands

Hmm… what else… oh yeah

5. New handbags. Professional hand bags? lol

6. Shoes bebehhhh shoooeessss!

7. Manilla cards. Marker pens. Teaching aids.

8. Mentally and Spiritually ready.

 

…. I guess that’s all. I don’t have ANY baju kurung at all. How sucky is that? lol I don’t like baju kurungs… it makes me look short = =’’

 

Gosh… I guess I have to collect as much HONG PAO as much as I can during CNY. I need money… ughhhh = =’’
